Valencia Electric was formed in January 2004 as a branch of Coverall Electric, which opened in 1980 in Culver City. In January 2006 Valencia Electric purchased Coverall Electric and now operates as one company headquartered in the Santa Clarita Valley with mobile units on the west side of Los Angeles. Coverall Electric has provided and continues to provide excellent service throughout Los Angeles County since 1980, has been listed in LA Magazine’s “Top 10 Electricians” and is listed in the Franklin Report.

• Service & Residential Division: This arena is led by our Vice President, Michael Derderian who has 28 years of personal experience as an electrician. His team is experienced in everything from troubleshooting small problems through the wiring of an entire home. The team is also certified in graphic eye, for both remodels and new construction.

• Retail Division: In our Retail Division, which is led by our Vice President, Mike Derderian and our Retail Project Manager, Scott Derderian, we provide service to small retail outlets as well as large franchised and mall stores. The team is able to handle projects of any size from troubleshooting electrical issues to re-lamping an entire store.

• Commercial Division: this segment is led by our President, John Wiersma who also has 28 years of experience in the electrical business and our Commercial Project Manager, Ian Seyerle. John and his team are able to take a project from design, including the drawing of plans and permit pulling, through the completion of the project. Besides our principals, we have a large staff of qualified electricians and a fleet of trucks for service.

• Office Management: this is led by our Vice President/CFO, Judd Boykin who has 35 years of financial management experience. His team handles purchasing, scheduling, accounts receivable and payable.
